About us
The Armenian Tourism Federation was established by the decision of the Constituent Assembly on August 2, 2018 by reorganizing the Union of Inbound Tour Operators of Armenia, which has been operating since 2004, and is its legal successor․ The Union of Inbound Tour Operators of Armenia has played a significant role in the tourism industry of Armenia, actively and effectively cooperated with partners from the public and private sectors of Armenia, including within the framework of international cooperation, for the benefit of the stable development of tourism in Armenia and Artsakh․ The Federation, represented by its legal Union of Inbound Tour Operators, also took part in the annual conference of affiliated members of the UN World Tourism Organization in Armenia, as well as in the organization in 2012 of an International conference entitled "Universal Values in 21st Century: How Can Tourism Make a Difference", within which it signed a commitment to adopt the World Code of Tourism Ethics of the UN World Tourism Organization. Since 2019, the Federation has been an affiliated member of the UN World Tourism Organization.
Our mission
coordination, representation and protection of the rights and interests of its members, collection, discussion, analysis of the problems presented by them, taking measures to solve the problems, formation and provision of a platform for cooperation between stakeholders, to be a link between the government and society, participation and support in the development and implementation of tourism policy, facilitating the establishment of business ties, formation of a database, provision of information and advice to members of the Federation regarding the development of world and domestic tourism and their rights
