On September 12, the Armenian Tourism Federation organized a special presentation at the European University of Yerevan. The event was aimed at familiarizing students with the Federation’s activities, giving an overview of Armenia’s tourism sector, and sharing statistical data that highlights the dynamics of both inbound and outbound tourism. The meeting was also a platform for open discussion, allowing young people to learn more about the opportunities that tourism provides, not only as a field of leisure but as a rapidly growing professional career path.

A central focus of the presentation was the introduction of the upcoming training program, “Outgoing Tourism & Amadeus Reservation System,” which will launch this fall. This 8-week course combines essential knowledge in outbound tourism management with practical training in the Amadeus booking system, offering participants the unique advantage of obtaining two certificates. The program will be led by experts with years of professional and academic experience, ensuring that students gain both theoretical foundations and practical skills needed in the industry.

Beyond informing students about the course, the Federation sought to gauge their level of interest and readiness to engage in structured professional training. This initiative once again underlines the Federation’s commitment to positioning itself as not only the voice of the tourism sector but also as a trusted provider of professional courses. By equipping future specialists with modern competencies, the Armenian Tourism Federation strengthens both the industry’s standards and Armenia’s position on the global tourism map.
